Turkish shipbuilder Med Marine held a keel-laying event at its Ere ğli Shipyard April 16 for 2 icebreaking tugboats (hull numbers ER84 & & ER85) incomplete for Maersk team hauling expert Svitzer.
The 2 business authorized a newbuilding agreement for the pulls lastSeptember They are being constructed to Robert Allan Ltd’s EXPANSE 3000 style for pulls running in severe winter months problems, that makes them well matched for Svitzer’s North European fleet. Among their distinguishing characteristics, the winch can running over the demanding using a trunk going through the deckhouse and also lies in a confined location to attain maximum efficiency also in serious winter problems.
