A Filipino seafarer obtained seriously harmed when he dropped in the jetty from the ship anchored at Chittagong port. The case took place throughout Monday midday when the freight procedure was in progress and also the team was helping in shutting the hatch cover of the ship.

The Philippines’ nationwide team participant was determined as Joel D Baranda, 35. The replacement conservator of the Chittagong Port Authority (Certified Public Accountant), Captain Faridul Alam, informed the media that the international team dropped from the ship– MV Talia H which was anchored at no. 4 jetty.
He was instantly required to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he was noticable dead on arrival.
“The body is now at CMCH. There are some formalities to complete to send the body to the Philippines from Bangladesh,” as informed by Captain Faridul Alam.
