Iranian Hostages Released By Somali Pirates After Years In Captivity

The International Seafarers’ Welfare and also Assistance Network (ISWAN) invites the launch of 3 Iranian captives by Somali pirates after virtually 5 and also half years in bondage.

We wish to thank governments and other organisations who supported the piracy relief funds. Over the years this has enabled some of the seafarers held hostage to return to sea.’

ISWAN belongs to the UNSC’s mandated Contact Group on Piracy off the Coast of Somalia (CGPCS) as well as likewise provides the Piracy Survivor Family Fund (PSFF).
