The benefits include significant cost savings and reduced fuel consumption, which in turn limits emissions for a minimised carbon footprint,” claims Henrik Wilhelms, Director, Agreement Sales, Wärtsilä Marine Power.

In enhancement to the engines, the contract likewise covers the LNGPac gas storage space, supply and also control system, the Gas Valve Unit, and also the ships’ electric and also automation systems.

The 92-metre-long traveler ferryboats belong to the Canadian Province of Quebec’s transport system.
