March 2 (Reuters)– The Baltic Exchange’s major sea products index, monitoring prices for ships lugging completely dry mass assets, climbed on Thursday as prices for all vessel sections enhanced, with capesize vessels prolonging gains one of the most.

The total index, which consider prices for capesize, panamax, supramax as well as handysize delivery vessels, was up 33 factors, or 3.79 percent, at 904 factors, its highest possible in greater than 5 weeks.

The capesize index broke a three-day losing touch as well as climbed 103 factors, or 10.36 percent, to finish at 1,097 factors.

Average everyday incomes for capesizes, which generally deliver 150,000-tonne freights such as iron ore as well as coal, were up $678 at $8,571.

The panamax index was up 43 factors, or 4.13 percent, at 1,084 factors.

Average everyday incomes for panamaxes, which typically bring coal or grain freights of concerning 60,000 to 70,000 tonnes, raised $345 to $8,711.
