The fraud, when uncovered in 2014, led to the collapse and chapter of Sete, EIG stated within the revised court docket submitting.

To faucet into these reserves, Petrobras required the unique use of drillships designed to function in ultra-deep waters, and to obtain drillship contracts, the shipyards and Odebrecht paid bribes and kickbacks to Petrobras executives and representatives of the Workers Party of Brazil, EIG added.
Reuters reported, in late April, that Sete Brasil was near searching for safety from collectors after its efforts to safe a long-term contract with Petrobras failed.
