The refit of the 27-year-old ship will add a further 15 years to its initially anticipated 30 12 months service life. During the refit modification, the propulsion system will largely get replaced with new extra environmentally pleasant diesel turbines, renewal of the bow thruster and propulsion motors, new switchboards, management methods, and alarms.
