A brand new deepwater building vessel previously owned by Sea Trucks Group has been arrested in Singapore over a dispute with a neighborhood shipyard.

The vessel arrested is the DP3 pipelay building vessel Jascon 18.

In response to media stories, Sea Trucks Group issued a press release saying that it offered the Jascon 18 to new impartial house owners again in March 2015, when the vessel was nonetheless underneath building in Singapore. The new house owners then engaged Sea Trucks to finish the development, the corporate mentioned.

The Jascon 18 was constructed by the Singaporean shipyard Kwong Soon with supply scheduled for Q3 2015.
