MacGregor, a part of Cargotec, has secured a big order to provide RO/RO gear for 2 6,900 CEU pure automobile and truck carriers (PCTCs) to be constructed at Japan’s Shin Kurushima Toyohashi Shipbuilding Co for Ok Line (Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd) in Japan.
The order was booked into Cargotec’s 2022 third-quarter order consumption. The first vessel is scheduled to be delivered to the proprietor within the first quarter of 2025 and the second within the second quarter of 2025.
MacGregor’s scope of provide consists of design, provide, and set up help for a stern ramp, a aspect ramp, three units of movable ramps, a ramp cowl and a cell deck lifter to every vessel.
