56 Filipino Seafarers Repatriated From Turkey

An overall of 56 Filipino seafarers were repatriated from Ankara onThursday They belonged of 128 solid brigade of Overseas Filipino Workers( OFWs) repatriated by the Filipino federal government with help from different Turkish authorities in Ankara.

The repatriation was led by the Philippine Embassy in Ankara, Filipino Consul General in Istanbul, collaborating with the Department of Foreign Affairs( DFA), Manila as well as differentTurkish Authorities Raul Hernandez, the Filipino ambassador to Turkey leading the initiatives.

A Turkish Airlines unique trip, TK 4945 brought them from Istanbul International Airport to Ninoy Aquino International Airport( NAIA),Manila It left on 10th June as well as gotten here in Manilla on 11th June.

56 Filipino Seafarers Repatriated From Turkey

The seafarers on the vessels were mostly from MV Wakamatsu, MV AOM Elena as well as several others in the ports of Istanbul as well as Antalya.
