
Baltic Index Near 5-Month High on Improving Vessel Rates
Sept 7 (Reuters)– The Baltic Exchange’s major sea products index, monitoring prices for ships lugging completely dry mass assets, touched a close to 5-month high up on Thursday, driven by more powerful need throughout vessel sections.
The total index, which consider prices for capesize, panamax, supramax and also handysize delivery vessels, climbed 46 indicate 1,296 factors, a degree last discussed April 13.
