
Verreault Shipyard
Québec Clty headquartered Ocean Group Inc. has acquired Verreault Shipyard, situated within the municipality of Les Méchins, Québec, within the Gaspé Peninsula. The yard’s amenities embody a 244 meter lengthy by 26 meter large dry dock and the acquisition may also see privately-held Ocean Group including to its fleet the 2 Verreault tugs that at the moment present service on the Les Méchins and Matane docks.
Ocean Group says that the deal permits it to accumulate a further high-capacity website for ship restore and conversion, complementary to its amenities in Isle-aux-Coudres.
