Chemical Tanker Collides With Fishing Vessel; 1 Dead & & 2 Missing
The Coast Guard is looking for 2 anglers from the 81-foot angling vessel Pappy’s Pride that tipped over after an accident near the Galveston jetties in Galveston, Texas, Tuesday.
At 3:35 p.m., Vessel Traffic Service Houston-Galveston watchstanders were alerted of 4 individuals in the water after an accident in between the angling vessel and also the 600-foot chemical vessel Bow Fortune near the Galveston jetties.
Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders released an immediate aquatic details program and also introduced a Station Galveston 45-foot Response Boat-Medium watercraft staff and also a 29-foot Response Boat-Small watercraft staff.
Two of the anglers were drawn from the water by the staff of a great Samaritan vessel and also the RB-M watercraft staff. Both were moved to emergency situation clinical solutions employees.
