CIMC Raffles-Built Heavy Lift Transporter Heads to Sea Trials
On January thirty first, the above-pictured 50,000 ton deadweight, dynamically-positioned (DP) semi-submersible heavy raise vessel departed CIMC Raffles shipyard for sea trials. This vessel, alongside along with her sister vessel, have been ordered from United Faith Group Limited in 2011 and designed by Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (SDARI).
The shipyard says checks of the vessel embody DP, PMS, FMEA, vibration and noise.
