Coast Guard Medevacs Two Crew Members Who Suffered Chemical Burns On Cruise Ship
Two team participants on a Celebrity cruise liner experienced chemical burns on 2June They were hurried to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Virginia.
The team participants experienced injuries when functioning. Earlier in the day, the cruise liner got in touch with the Coast Guard Fifth District Command Center that replies to maritime mishaps in the United States mid-Atlantic area.
They looked for clinical support for the team participants. The Celebrity cruise liner had to do with 70 miles from the Virginia coast when the crash took place.
The Coast Guard sent off a team on MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from Elizabeth City inNorth Carolina They flew a ship physician and also the hurt participants to the healthcare facility.
