Athens headquartered Dynagas LNG Partners LP (NYSE: DLNG) stories that it has entered into a brand new time constitution occasion settlement with Equinor ASA for the employment of the 2013 constructed ice class 1A FS LNG service Arctic Aurora.
Under the brand new time constitution settlement, the 155,000 cubic meter capability ice class LNG service is predicted to be delivered to Equinor in September 2023 in direct continuation of the present constitution occasion with Equinor, that means there will likely be no lapse of time between the present and the brand new time constitution.
Dynagas says that the time period “in direct continuation” doesn’t check with the contracted revenue. The new time constitution interval is about 3 years including about $116.5 million to the partnership’s current contracted income backlog.
“We are very pleased to enter into this new agreement with Equinor, with whom the Arctic Aurora has been employed since its delivery in 2013, reflecting our long-standing relationship with Equinor and the outstanding operational performance of the Arctic Aurora and our manager throughout the years,” mentioned Dynagas LNG Partners CEO Tony Lauritzen.
