An investigation has been launched into a hearth on board the platform provide vessel Skandi Stolmen offshore Brazil.
According to DOF Group, the fireplace broke out Wednesday on board the 1977-built PSV whereas working in Brazil’s Campos Basin. The vessel is operated by Norskan Offshore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DOF ASA.
DOF says that each one sixteen crewmembers have been evacuated safely to different vessels and have since disembarked in Macaé. It was confirmed that the incident didn’t trigger any environmental hurt, DOF mentioned.
