MacGregor, a part of Cargotec, has obtained a big order for complete packages of RO/RO tools for 2 LNG dual-fueled, 7,500 automotive capability, pure automotive and truck provider (PCTC) vessels. The 199.9 meter lengthy vessels are on order at Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd. for Kägiswil, Switzerland-based Sallaum Lines and are the primary newbuildings ordered by the corporate.
The order was booked into Cargotec’s 2023 first quarter orders obtained. The vessels are scheduled to be delivered to the shipowner between the fourth quarter of 2024 and the second quarter of 2026.
MacGregor’s scope of provide for every PCTC encompasses design, provide and set up assist of RO/RO and automotive deck tools for each vessels. This contains electrically operated exterior and inside ramps, liftable automotive decks, covers and doorways.
