Fourteen Rescued as Cargo Ship Capsizes Off India – INCIDENT PHOTOS
In one other daring rescue this week, the Indian Navy and Coast Guard rescued fourteen sailors from a normal cargo ship because it capsized and sank in extreme climate off the coast of Umargam, India on Wednesday.

The Coastal Pride had been anchored about 9 miles from the coast off Umargam, situated about 71 miles north of Mumbai, since Tuesday after the vessel started experiencing engine bother. A tug had beforehand been unable to achieve the vessel as a result of dangerous climate.
After receiving the misery name, the MRCC despatched a Navy and Coast Guard helicopter to help within the rescue mission. Once on scene, the Coast Guard helicopter was capable of winch up the primary six sailors from the vessel and drop them at a seaside in Umargam in two separate journeys. As the helicopter was returning for its third journey, the ship capsized. Amazingly, the remaining eight crewmembers had been rescued from the water by the Coast Guard and Navy helicopter crews, which had simply arrived from Mumbai.
Reports say the two,000 DWT vessel was carrying a cargo of cement.
The rescue was the second this week for the Indian Navy and Coast Guard. On Monday, all 20 crew members had been evacuated from the severely itemizing MV Jindal Kamakshi, which was anchored about 25 kilometers from Vasai creek, simply north of Mumbai.
There had been no casualties in both incident.
