Huntington Ingalls Industries has promoted Todd Borkey to govt vp and chief know-how officer, reporting on to President and CEO Chris Kastner. The promotion expands the scope of obligations for Borkey, who has served as chief know-how officer of HII’s Mission Technologies division since 2021. In his new position, Borkey will oversee the corporate’s know-how technique, together with analysis and growth, to boost HII’s current services and to develop new capabilities to drive market development.

Prior to becoming a member of HII, Borkey served as chief know-how officer at Alion Science and Technology, Thales Defense and Security, and DRS Defense Solutions the place he was chargeable for the technical roadmap and program operations to a variety of merchandise, together with RF communications, C5ISR options, distant sensors, radars, sonars, and cyber/digital warfare merchandise.
