MAN Energy Solutions has received a contract to provide full propulsion packages for 2 OPV-45 offshore patrol vessels at present underneath development at Israel Shipyards in Haifa.
The contract covers two an identical shipsets, every that includes two MAN 16V175D-MM engines (2,960 kW at 1,900 rpm) and gearboxes, in addition to Alpha FPP propellers with struts and Alphatronic 3000 propulsion management methods.
