LONDON, Jan 18 (Reuters) – Britain’s Lloyd’s Register (LR) is engaged on resuming companies to confirm security and environmental requirements for Iranian shipping firms, the ship classification society stated on Monday.

“We are now making arrangements to re-establish provision of classification services to existing tonnage and re-opening our Tehran office,” LR stated in a press release, with out offering additional particulars.
