Longship Group entered a joint newbuilding mission with Wagle Chartering AS for 2 “GS Eco-Freighter 3700” to be constructed by GS Yard BV in Waterhuizen, the Netherlands.
The common cargo ships characteristic single open prime field formed holds of about 181,000 cbft consumption. The vessels are geared up with two bulkheads that can be utilized as tweendecks. They are fitted for grain, timber, mission cagos and are pushed by a IMO Tier III compliant Mitsubishi S12R engine with an output of 749 kW.
Wagle Chartering is assigned with the business operation, whereas Longship Management BV will maintain the technical and crew administration of the newbuildings.
The Dutch flagged vessels shall be named Longsun and Longsky and can enter our service within the second quarter of this 12 months.
