The Master of an MSC containership is being accused of worldwide drug trafficking after authorities in Italy unveiled a fancy scheme to dump medicine at sea to allow them to be smuggled into Europe.

So far 12 individuals have been arrested in connection to the case.

The ship, MSC Poh Lin, is at the moment beneath arrest on the port of Gioia Tauro, the place authorities have seized some 1,500 containers in connection to the investigation. One container particularly had three luggage containing the medicine.
