PETRONAS Marine Conducts First LNG Bunkering Operation Successfully
Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) via its PETRONAS Marine brand name, effectively carried out the initial LNG Bunkering procedure through its LNG Bunker Vessel (LBV)– MV Avenir Advantage– at the Pintu Gedung anchorage, Port Klang, Malaysia.
The procedure made it possible for MV Solar Roma, a Liberian Tanker en course to the Mediterranean to finish its LNG shelter transfer of 865 m3 sourced from the PETRONAS Energy and also Gas Trading company in much less than 12 hrs upon its arrival at the anchorage.

This newest LNG bunkering option is developed to catch end-to-end market along with satisfy its consumer and also local needs in giving cleaner power.
The 7,500 cubic meter MV Avenir Advantage is the initial committed LBV, offering consumers in Southeast Asia and also utilized to advertise LNG as a cleaner aquatic gas in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
