Product Tanker ‘Scan Master’ Refloated from Norway Coast
A Norwegian product tanker has been refloated from the the shoreline of a fjord alongside the nation’s central western coast.
The Scan Master ran aground close to Hemneskjela in Snillfjord, Norway in a single day Saturday whereas carrying 600 tonnes of fish entrails. A tanker started transferring the perishable cargo on Tuesday after failed makes an attempt to refloat the vessel.
Reports say that the ship was refloated with the assistance of two tugboats simply earlier than 14:30 hours on Wednesday. No oil was leaked from the vessel and not one of the 6 crewmembers have been injured within the grounding.
