
Russian Cargo Ship Runs Aground Off Istanbul
STANBUL, Dec 2 (Reuters)– Heavy winds required a Russian ship to run grounded off the shore of Istanbul on Friday, Turkey’s Dogan information firm reported.
It was not right away clear if any individual was wounded, although video from Dogan revealed guys being in a lifeboat on the deck of the ship, waiting to be reduced while rescue employees collected close by at the shore.
The ship ran grounded simply off Istanbul’s Kartal area, on the Asian side of the city on the shore of the Sea ofMarmara Istanbul’s European and also Asian sides are divided by the Bosphorus Strait, an essential global delivery lane for oil and also grain.
