French design company GTT stated Tuesday it had actually obtained an order from its South Korea- based shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries for the storage tank layout of a brand-new Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) system. According to GTT, Samsung is constructing the FLNG for “an Asian company.”
“With an overall storage space ability of 200,000 m 3, this FLNG will certainly be the very first fitted with the membrane layer control system Mark III Flex established by GTT. Its shipment is set up for the very first quarter of 2027,” GTT stated.
