
Ship Photos of the Day – New ‘Aranui 5’ is Half Cargo, Half Cruise Ship
Half important cargo ship, half enjoyable cruise. The new Aranui 5 is on the pinnacle of immediately’s freighter cruise market. Beginning subsequent month, the Tahitian cruise-cargo ship will sail 14 day voyages from Tahiti to the Marquesas and Bora Bora.
The vessel is owned by Compagnie Polynesienne de Transport Maritime and was customized constructed to ship cargo and cruise passengers to the distant South Pacific. The new vessel is slight bigger than its predecessor, the 2003-built Aranui 3, at 125 meters by 22 meters and has extra decks and cargo capability.
