Hundreds of U.S. employees and three Northeast ports will help South Fork Wind’s development by way of late fall serving to to face up a brand new home provide chain that’s creating tons of of native union jobs throughout the Northeast.

Boskalis’s Bokalift 2 set up vessel is transporting and putting in the foundations, underneath an settlement signed in June 2022.

Ørsted says that, throughout South Fork Wind’s development interval this summer season and fall, development and transport barges, tugboats, crew vessels, and guarded particular observer monitoring vessels shall be lively on the challenge website roughly 35 miles east of Montauk, N.Y.
