Ultra-Low Emission Vessel ‘Ortelius’ Joins Jan De Nul Fleet

Ortelius is the 5th dredger supplied by Keppel O&M to Jan De Nul Group, complying with the distribution of 3 3,500 m3 Trailing Suction Hoppers Dredgers (TSHD) and also one 6,000 m3 TSHD, theSanderus All 5 are Ultra-Low Emission vessels (ULEv), furnished with a two-stage catalytic filter system.

Built to the needs of the EU Stage V and also International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) Tier III laws, Ortelius is diesel-electric driven and also able to dig up to an optimum deepness of 35 m. In dealing with COVID-19, we have put in place safe management measures, optimised operations and diversified our supply chain network, enabling us to catch up on work in a safe and efficient manner.”
