The Coast Guard medevaced a crewmember from the overseas assistance vessel Citation about 7 miles offshore Corpus Christi, Texas, Thursday mid-day.
Coast Guard Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi watchstanders obtained an ask for medevac for a 45-year-old man that was experiencing arm discomfort as well as lack of breath. Watchstanders spoken with the task trip doctor that advised the medevac.
“We are grateful we were able to get the mariner to the medical attention he needed,” statedLt Jake Conrad, Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi MH-65 airplane leader. “It was a team effort between both crews involved.”
