WATCH: Kleven Launches 116-Meter Expedition Yacht
Norwegian shipyard Kleven Verft on Saturday celebrated the launch of its construct no. 370 at the moment, a 116-meter lengthy Expedition Support Vessel for New Zealand businessman Graeme Hart.
This is the second vessel being constructed by Kleven for Hart and his household, following the supply of the 107-meter explorer yacht Ulysses from Kleven Verft in 2015. The Ulysses is at the moment on her first cruise within the Mediterranean.
Kleven explains that the excessive specification construct no. 370 is a sort MT 5006 MKII ESV, designed by Norwegian ship design firm Marin Teknikk in cooperation with Naval Architect Kyle Dick of New Zealand primarily based Oscar Mike Naval Architects. The vessel is specifically designed for lengthy expeditions in tough waters, and blends a strong, hard-working character with luxurious added extras, Kleven says.
The vessel will accommodate 66 folks, and is to be delivered from Kleven Verft in July this 12 months.
