WATCH: Lego Stena IceMAX Build Time-Lapse

Here’s a time-lapse displaying the constructing of the Lego-version Stena IceMAX drillship at LSME (that’s Lego Shipyard and Marine Engineering). The video is the second from creator Andrew Mcalpine, following his first video displaying the development of the Maersk Triple-E lego package.

According to Andrew:

The concept for a time-lapse displaying the development got here after I noticed a model constructed by Bright-Bricks at Brick2014. As with my earlier time-lapse I had the concept to mix my curiosity in ships & Lego.
The authentic model of the mannequin was commissioned as a restricted version of 200 to be given out at an oil business commerce present in November 2012.
I’ve made some slight modifications to my mannequin in an effort to make it as lifelike as potential.

The actual Stena IceMAX was constructed by Samsung Heavy Industries in 2012.
