WATCH: Ovation of the Seas Float Out
Royal Caribbean’s subsequent 168,666-ton Quantum-class cruise ship Ovation of the Seas was floated out of Meyer Werft’s lined constructing dock II on Thursday.
The cruise ship has been underneath building on the yard in Papenburg, Germany for simply 18 months and lately has undergone in depth exams, inside work and equipment trials. The cruise ship will now bear extra testing that shall be carried out within the harbor alongside the yard’s outfitting pier.
Ovation of the Seas is the third ship in Royal Caribbean’s Quantum class, following sister ship’s Quantum of the Seas and the now notorious Anthem of the Seas, which lately made headlines after it rode out a serious hurricane-force throughout a voyage off the U.S. East Coast.
