The UNITED STATE Navy next-generation warship, USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), went back to sea for today for a collection of sea tests before going back to Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia.
The sea tests occurred off the united state eastern coastline after the warship finished a 15-month pierside upkeep duration, referred to as a Post Shakedown Availability (PSA), at Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Newport News Shipbuilding (HII-NNS).
