
JULY 28, 2017 — Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine, is being awarded an $11,392,918 cost-plus-award-fee modification to beforehand awarded contract (N00024-12-C-2313) to train choices for DDG 51 class lead yard providers.
The contract gives liaison and technical help; engineering, design and configuration administration; methods engineering crew; turnkey and crew indoctrination and orientation.
Work shall be carried out in Brunswick, Maine (95 p.c); and Bath, Maine (5 p.c), and is predicted to be accomplished by January 2018.
Fiscal 2012 and 2014 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding within the quantity of $10,768,572 shall be obligated at time of award and won’t expire on the finish of the present fiscal yr.
The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting exercise.
