After taking a pause to keep up equipment, the St. Simons Sound Response staff at this time resumed reducing operations on the hull of the capsized automotive provider Golden Ray, which is being sliced into eight large sections for elimination and recycling.
Two sections of the wreck, the bow (part one) and the strict (part eight) have already been eliminated. The present reducing operation will separate part seven from the vessel.

As the large heavy raise vessel VB-10000 received again to sawing by the the wreck utilizing an enormous chain strung between its twin gantries, precutting operations continued alongside extra cutlines to extend effectivity when the elimination operation advances to subsequent sections.
Responders, meantime, have accomplished weight-shedding operations on Section Two eradicating roughly 100 autos and two movable decks from the part. The autos can be transported to and processed at two native, licensed auto recycling amenities.
The barge Julie B, which is getting used to move the separated sections, will depart the recycling facility in Gibson, La., subsequent week en path to Brunswick, Ga., after staff efficiently eliminated Section One. The barge will obtain Section Two as soon as the part is separated and lifted.
