An oil system employee was medevaced Wednesday early morning roughly 20 miles southeast of Southwest Pass, La.
The UNITED STATE Coast Guard stated its watchstanders at Sector New Orleans obtained notice at 11:38 p.m. Tuesday from the oil system West Delta Block 73 Advertisement of a 49-year-old man experiencing extreme stomach discomfort.
Watchstanders worked with the launch of a Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter team to help. The helicopter team showed up on scene, lifted the specific and also moved him to University Medical Center in New Orleans.
The employee was last reported to be in steady problem, the Coast Guard stated.
