Norwegian offshore vessel proprietor Solstad Offshore has secured $70 million in new contracts and extensions for 2 of its subsea development vessels (CSV) that might be employed offshore Brazil.
The new contract is for the CSV Normand Fortress with Brazilian state-run oil firm Petrobras.
The contract has a period of two years agency with chance of two years extension. The vessel will present lodging companies to assist manufacturing actions on Brazilian continental shelf.
The contract is ready to start out within the second quarter of 2024, Solstad stated.
In addition, the present contract with Petrobras for CSV Normand Valiant has been prolonged by six months.
With this extension, the agency period of this contract is now agency till mid-February 2025.
The mixed gross contract worth is roughly $70 million (NOK 750 million).
