OSM Maritime Group and Thome Group Get Merger Approvals, Creating a Ship Management Giant

OSM Maritime Group and Thome Group have obtained approvals from competitors authorities to merge and create one of many world’s largest ship administration firms.

The merged firm, OSM Thome, says it will likely be a powerhouse within the worldwide ship administration market, represented in 22 nations and headquartered in Arendal, Norway.

Finn Amund Nordbye CEO of OSM Thome stated: “This is a big day for OSM Thome. Our merger is now formally and finally approved. The merged company combines proud traditions with high ambitions.

Several of the world’s main transport firms are prospects of OSM Thome, and the fleet contains numerous segments resembling tank, bulk, container, automotive ships, and offshore vessels. 

The firm handles ship administration for almost 450 ships and is accountable for crewing on about 550 further ships.

 The integration course of will now begin, and OSM Thome says, will probably be accomplished in a quick and correct method and in good dialogue with staff on the numerous workplaces. 

It has just lately been determined who will be part of CEO Finn Amund Norbye within the administration group.

Kjell Ove Breivik – Chief Culture Officer
Linda Hentsch – Global Head of Shore HR
Mailyn Borillo – Managing Director, Philippines
Morten Amundsen – Chief Legal Officer
