Eqva, an proprietor of commercial service corporations, stated Monday it might divest Havyard Leirvik Yard in Norway to a Turkish purchaser.
“The sale of Havyard Leirvik will free up important resources, both human and financial, enabling a concentrated focus on further development of Eqva’s current industrial portfolio, and look for new investment opportunities,” stated Even Matre Ellingsen, Chair of the Board of Eqva.
Havyard Leirvik is being offered to Tersan Shipyard, a Turkish-based shipbuilder.
he transaction relies on a share sale, the place Eqva ASA is promoting its shares (100%) in Havyard Leirvik Holding AS, the place the subsidiaries Havyard Leirvik AS and Havyard Leirvik Eiendom AS are included. The transaction is settled by NOK 30 million in web money (presently round ~2,7 million).
