Several Russian warships have handed the Bab al-Mandab Strait into the Red Sea, the Russian navy’s Pacific Fleet stated on Thursday, amid assaults by Yemen’s Houthis on service provider transport.
The Zvezda TV channel, owned by the protection ministry, quoted the fleet as saying the Russian cruiser Varyag and the frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov have been collaborating within the voyage.
