The United States requested Panama final week to ban Iranian vessels sanctioned by Washington from utilizing its flag, as officers regarded into the likelihood that Panamanian-flagged vessels had been used to move Iranian oil.
Panama mentioned it has not obtained formal requests to cancel registries since 2020.
