On Friday, August 13, EU NAVFOR ATALANTA Joint Operation Centre obtained a sharp according to which the Turkish- flagged freight vessel Anatolia (IMO 9005869) was under fire by a skiff with 4 or 5 armed individuals aboard.
Reportedly, the skiff tried to come close to the vessel and also opened up fire with little arms and also rocket-propelled explosives (RPG). One of these RPG created damages at the bridge.
