Crowley Loses Alyeska Bid

Florida-based Crowley Marine Services has misplaced a bid to proceed to supply tanker escort and oil spill prevention and response companies in Valdez and Prince William Sound when its present contract expires June 30, 2018.

Crowley has offered marine companies in Prince William Sound for Alyeska since 1990, and previous to that the corporate offered tanker docking companies in Valdez starting with the startup of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline in 1977.
