More Bosphorus Trouble: Vessels Collide Near Northern Entrance – INCIDENT PHOTOS

Another incident to report as we speak involving ships in or close to Turkey’s Bosphorus Strait.

Turkish maritime authorities have confirmed that the tanker Paros Wind and the majority provider CS Jaden collided Monday night time at about 11:30 p.m. roughly 8 nautical miles from the northern entrance within the Bosphorus Strait.

Both vessels have been broken within the collision and assisted to an anchorage outdoors the strait.

The 38,000 DWT CS Jaden was loaded with wheat whereas the 17,000 DWT Paros Wind was carrying a cargo of gasoline oil when the collision occurred, based on the Turkish authorities.
