PHOTOS: ‘Oasis 3’ Float Out at STX France
Harmony of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, was floated out of dry dock on the STX Les Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. The float out was performed June 18 and 19 below excellent circumstances, STX France mentioned on its web site.
The ship is below development for Royal Caribbean and is the third ship within the firm’s Oasis-class.
At 227,000 gross registered tons, Harmony of the Seas would be the biggest cruise ship ever built, beating out Oasis 1 and a pair of – Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas – by about 1,700 tons. The ship will carry 5,479 friends at double occupancy, about 79 greater than the primary two.
Delivery of Harmony of the Seas is anticipated for April 2016. A fourth Oasis class ship can be below development on the STX France shipyard.
Yesterday we confirmed you footage of the Harmony of the Seas at STX France because the vessel was ready for its float out.
