
Raw Video Shows 600-Foot Freighter Run Aground on Delaware River
Some novice video has captured the second a big freighter ran aground within the Delaware River close to the Burlington Bristol Bridge on Wednesday.
The Liberian-flagged 600-foot bulk provider, Agia Irini, was headed southbound when it reportedly misplaced propulsion and ran aground at roughly 2 p.m., the Coast Guard mentioned in a press release.
No accidents or air pollution was reported following the incident.
The ship was refloated and en path to secure anchorage for additional Coast Guard investigation, the Coast Guard mentioned.
