Swiss marine energy firm WinGD and South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) have agreed to cooperate on future gas vessel functions with ammonia-fueled engines. The memorandum of understanding, signed through the Gastech convention in Singapore this week, signifies a powerful intention on the a part of SHI to put in WinGD’s X-DF-A dual-fuel ammonia engines on forthcoming newbuild vessels.
